Workshop on Complex Image Processing - 17th-18th Feb 2022

University of Central Lancashire, Preston Campus:

A one and a half day Workshop on Complex Image Processing will take place in Room EIC 315 of the Engineering and Innovation Centre at the University of Central Lancashire on the 17th February and the morning of the 18th of February 2022. Invited speakers will deliver presentations of relevant work and engage in discussions with audience attendees. The Workshop which will provide an opportunity for individuals with interests in complex image processing to share information about their work, learn about the work of others, and engage in focused discussion of theoretical, empirical and translational matters pertaining to how complex images are processed. Of particular interest will be work investigating how medical, X-ray, security and other types of complex images might be analysed to allow for more effective target item detection and task decision making. Presentations and discussions will take place during the day on the Thursday, and in the evening discussions will continue over a meal. The following Friday morning will be reserved for consideration of potential collaborations, funding opportunities and applications, as well as how collaborative working might provide increased opportunities into the future.
